BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
With the Jewel Purple/Pink, 900 Global brings a fascinating new development to market that stands out above all for its exceptional length and late reaction. Inside works the dynamic Symmetric core, which ensures very clean motion through the front part of the lane with a 2.54 RG and a 0.040 differential. The pearl reactive cover is specifically tuned to store the ball's energy extremely efficiently. The surface, with a polished finish, supports this trait in a big way by letting the ball glide effortlessly through the heads without building friction early. Visually the ball is a real eye-catcher and immediately conveys that this model was designed primarily for later and sharper direction changes. The technical match between core and cover is extremely harmonious and purposeful here.
Comparison
Comparing the Jewel Purple/Pink to the Storm Tropical Surge, the glaring differences in backend reaction are immediately apparent. The Storm Tropical Surge tends to read a bit earlier, while the Jewel Purple/Pink holds its energy a decisive fraction longer and then responds noticeably more aggressively to the dry area. That trait makes it the perfect complement in the arsenal when the Tropical Surge starts losing energy in the pocket or entering too flat. Although both balls are aimed at lighter oil patterns, the Jewel Purple/Pink offers a noticeably more dynamic angle. It's the ideal solution for situations in which the Tropical Surge no longer develops enough drive, since it generates the necessary entry angle.
On the Lanes
This ball shows its greatest strength once the lane has already been played on a bit and the transition has clearly set in. It needs a certain amount of friction on the backend to develop its characteristic hook, which delivers maximum, explosive carry. As the boards in the front part of the lane dry up, the ball lets you systematically move further inside and attack the pocket from a much deeper angle. It works excellently for medium to dry conditions and is an excellent choice if you're looking for a clean, responsive surface. With its forgiving nature on shots missed to the outside, it should keep your scores stable at a very high level even in the late stages of a tournament.
