The 900 Global All Day stands out as a punchy benchmark ball with its classic solid design. Inside works the symmetrical Clockwork Core, which carries a 2.550 RG and a moderate 0.040 differential. For the cover, 900 Global relies on the extremely tacky S43 Solid Reactive coverstock, sanded to 4000 grit out of the box. This combination of the late core and the rough cover should ensure that the ball reliably dominates the heads and saves all of its energy for a very even, steady pull through the midlane.
Comparison
In a direct comparison with the 900 Global All Night, the All Day goes massively earlier and, thanks to the stronger cover, offers a completely drastic, arcing roll phase. Against the Storm IQ Tour Solid, the All Day delivers far more similar traction, but its somewhat weaker core motor builds a moderate hook at the breakpoint. When friction on the lane is high and the transition dries up the front part, the All Day burns its energy steadily.
On the Lanes
The 900 Global All Day is ideally suited to lane conditions with medium oil volume. For strokers and bowlers with moderate ball speed, it offers the option of playing direct lines in the oil, since the cover builds massive traction. The even drive toward the pocket should deliver convincing carry. On dry lanes, however, this ball is too weak in the backend because of the matte finish. It's an absolute benchmark weapon to start with.
