BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The Track Tour X Solid impresses with its plain but all-black solid design, signaling absolute control. At its center works the symmetrical DNA Core, which comes with a 2.580 RG and a very low differential of 0.023. This core is wrapped in the DR-4 Solid Reactive coverstock, finished with a matte 500 and 3000 Abralon surface. The high RG makes the core rotate very late, which in combination with the low flare potential should give the ball an extremely smooth and predictable motion.
Comparison
Compared directly to the Track Tour X Pearl, the solid version shows somewhat more stable ball motion, delivers moderately more traction in oil and a considerably rounder reaction at the breakpoint. Against a ball like the Storm IQ Tour Solid, the Tour X Solid offers a bit more length through the midlane thanks to its higher RG. When the transition changes the lane and dry spots develop, the balanced surface keeps the ball from overreacting uncontrollably at the breakpoint. It reacts steadily, but is absolutely forgiving.
On the Lanes
The Track Tour X Solid is most at home on dry to medium lane conditions as well as on demanding, short sport patterns. It is an excellent option if you're looking for a smooth and predictable ball motion when the lanes get shaky. The symmetrical core creates a small, round angle at the breakpoint, which builds confidence when playing direct lines. The ball should secure your carry through a consistent entry into the pocket. On a lot of oil, however, it slides through.
