The Storm Crux Elite presents itself as an exclusive international release in an extremely classy solid look. Inside works the extremely high-performing asymmetric Catalyst Core with a 2.500 RG, a massive 0.052 differential and a 0.017 intermediate differential. For the surface, Storm relies on a dull solid reactive cover. This combination of the asymmetric Catalyst core and the rough cover should ensure that the ball gets through the heads safely and uses all of its energy for a massive, asymmetric drive in the midlane.

Comparison
Compared directly to the Storm Alpha Crux, the Crux Elite behaves extremely similarly and offers an identical, drastic and early roll phase. Against the Storm Crux Pearl, the Crux Elite delivers far stronger traction, but builds a similarly powerful hook at the breakpoint thanks to the same core engine. When friction on the lane is high and the transition dries up the front part of the lane, the Crux Elite burns its energy quickly and reacts extremely hard in the heads.

On the Lanes
The Storm Crux Elite is ideally suited to lane conditions with high oil volume. For strokers and bowlers with high ball speed, it offers the option of playing in deep oil, since the cover builds massive traction while the asymmetric core provides the backend. The enormous drive toward the pocket should deliver convincing carry. On dry lanes, however, this ball is too aggressive because of the dull finish. It's an absolute weapon for starting out on fresh patterns.
