BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The Storm Code Red SP stands out with an extremely vivid Red and Silver Pearl look as an international release. Inside works the massive asymmetric RAD4 core, which is defined by a 2.500 RG and a huge 0.058 differential. For the cover, Storm relies on the R2S Pearl Reactive coverstock, polished to a high gloss out of the box. These specs should make the ball get into a very late read and skid safely through the heads on dry lanes. The cover and the core offer the perfect mix of maximum asymmetry and a brutal snap in the backend.
Comparison
Compared directly with the Storm Code Black, the Code Red SP shows absolutely identical ball motion through the heads, but delivers a marginally more angular reaction at the breakpoint due to cover fine-tuning. Against the Storm Snap Lock, the Code Red SP offers a comparably massive but late hook thanks to its strong differential. When transition changes the lane and dry spots appear, the smooth surface keeps the ball from losing energy at the breakpoint. It snaps hard and huge.
On the Lanes
The Storm Code Red SP is most at home on dried-up and medium lane conditions. It's an excellent option if you're looking for a clean and hugely angular ball motion when the lanes are heavily played. The asymmetric core creates a massive angle at the breakpoint, which builds confidence when playing deeper lines. The ball should secure carry through its late entry into the pocket. On very fresh patterns, however, it can sometimes slide through.
