Inside works the dynamic N.O.S. core, which ensures a very clean motion through the front part of the lane with a 2.53 RG and a 0.045 differential. The R2S Pearl cover is specifically tuned to store the ball's energy extremely efficiently. The character of the surface with a 1500-grit polished finish supports this trait massively, letting the ball glide effortlessly through the heads without building friction early. Visually the ball is a real eye-catcher and immediately conveys that this model was designed primarily for later and sharper changes of direction. Comparing the 2Fast with the Storm Tropical Surge, the glaring differences in backend reaction are immediately apparent. The Storm Tropical Surge tends to read a bit earlier, while the 2Fast holds its energy a decisive fraction longer and then responds noticeably more aggressively to the dry area. That trait makes it the perfect complement in the arsenal when the Tropical Surge starts losing energy in the pocket or entering too flat. Although both balls are aimed at lighter oil patterns, the 2Fast offers a noticeably more dynamic angle.
