BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The Radical Zing comes in a striking color scheme of Pink, Neon Blue and Black, and its aggressive nature shows in the look alone. The ball uses the proven Forged 2 Solid coverstock already known from the Conspiracy and pairs it with an asymmetric core that has a lower RG and higher differential than the Katana line. The specs on the 15-pound ball show a 2.503 RG, a 0.051 differential and a 0.020 mass bias differential. The ball is prepped out of the box with 500, 1000 and 3000 SiaAir pads. The Zing also uses Brunswick's DynamiCore technology, a more durable outer material that compresses less on impact, which increases hitting power and creates a noticeable difference in sound and pin carry. Comparison
The Zing gives every tester enormous margin on heavily oiled lanes and makes the most of its high hook potential and strong move at the breakpoint. Compared directly to other Radical balls, the Zing is clearly more aggressive. While it uses the same Forged 2 Solid coverstock as the Radical Conspiracy, the asymmetric core brings different characteristics along with it. The Zing Hybrid version offers more total hook, but shows a very similar motion to the popular Radical Katana Slash. The Zing Hybrid has a hard-charging backend move that few other balls match, and it would certainly rank in the top 5-10 for backend continuation. The ball uses the core from the Katana line and shows the strong downlane motion that was already appreciated there. On the Lanes
The Zing is recommended for heavy oil conditions, and on those lane conditions it offers enormous margin with plenty of traction through the oil and a strong downlane move, giving you a lot of recovery when you miss right, while misses inside get chewed up by the heavy oil volume in the middle of the lane. This combination should deliver the ball motion Radical was after: very aggressive at the spot with a big backend reaction. The ball is especially suited to bowlers who need control on heavy oil and still want an aggressive reaction. For most bowlers the Zing will work best on medium to slightly heavier oil conditions, since there is too much core for drier environments. The ball also has potential on sport patterns or tournament conditions, since balls with more midlane motion work well on those patterns because they add predictability to the overall ball path.
