BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The Radical Ridiculous immediately draws attention with its striking mix of black solid and red pearl. At its center works the innovative symmetrical Ridiculous core, which features a higher RG of 2.540 and a strong differential of 0.050. This core is wrapped in a special hybrid reactive cover that comes highly polished out of the box. The higher RG lets the core rotate very defined and late, while the smooth cover should make the ball glide extremely clean through the heads. The concept focuses on maximum length and a massive backend snap.
Comparison
Compared directly to the Radical Rave On, the Ridiculous digs in noticeably more aggressively at the end of the oil pattern thanks to its high differential and offers a more drastic flip. Against a symmetrical benchmark ball like the Storm Hy-Road Pearl, the Ridiculous delivers an even more extreme, almost asymmetrical-looking change of direction thanks to its special core design. When friction on the lane increases and the transition dries up the front part of the lane, the Ridiculous benefits enormously from its polished shell. It stores energy optimally through the boards and practically explodes at the breakpoint.
On the Lanes
The Radical Ridiculous is best suited to lane conditions with medium to light oil volume. For strokers and tweeners it offers the option of playing the boards from very deep angles, since the ball builds no unwanted traction in the heads. The explosive drive toward the pocket should provide reliable carry, especially when a steep entry angle is required. Once the lane gets extremely wet, however, the polish can cause the ball to react too late and miss the breakpoint entirely.
