First Impressions
The Radical Guru Mighty brings a striking blue and silver pearl design to the lane. Inside works the hefty asymmetric Guru core with a 2.501 RG, a massive 0.052 differential and a 0.018 intermediate differential. The cover is a pearl reactive shell brought to a heavily polished texture out of the box. Thanks to the medium RG and the massive differential, the ball glides smoothly through the front part of the lane and digs in extremely hard in the backend to generate maximum asymmetry.
Comparison
Compared to the Radical Guru Supreme, the Mighty shows drastically less early traction and a far more angular overall reaction in the dry. Against a ball like the Storm Snap Lock, the Guru Mighty offers a very similar massive, sharp hook thanks to its strong asymmetric design. When the transition changes the lane and friction increases, the smooth surface uses energy extremely well. It works very well playing more open lines.
On the Lanes
The Radical Guru Mighty is most at home on medium to heavy lane conditions. It's an outstanding option if you're looking for a dependable and extremely strong, angular ball motion. The asymmetric core produces an absolutely sharp move, which builds confidence when playing deep lines. The ball should ensure carry through an angular, powerful entry into the pocket. On extremely fresh oil it inevitably misses the breakpoint.
