The Hammer Arson High Flare Solid brings an extremely bright Red and Orange Solid look to the lane. Inside works the symmetric Maverick (Arson High Flare) core, which shows a 2.480 RG and a strong 0.054 differential. The coverstock is the Max-Flare Solid Cover, brought to a strong, tacky texture out of the box with a 500 and 2000 Abralon finish. Thanks to the low RG and the massive differential, the ball glides safely through the front part of the lane before building up major flare. These specs should make the ball push toward an incredibly strong, arcing midlane motion.
Comparison
Comparing the Arson High Flare Solid to the Ebonite Game Breaker 2, the Hammer ball shows drastically more traction and a far earlier overall reaction in oil. Against a ball like the Storm Phaze II, the Arson offers a very similar, powerful and steady hook thanks to its strong differential. When transition changes the lane and friction increases, the balanced, strong surface keeps the ball from jumping uncontrollably at the breakpoint. It works very well as a benchmark ball.

The Hammer Arson High Flare Solid is most at home on medium to heavy lane conditions. It is an excellent option if you're looking for a dependable and very strong ball motion. The symmetric core creates an absolutely predictable, heavy motion, which builds confidence when you play direct lines. The ball should secure carry through a consistent, powerful entry into the pocket. On very dry patterns, however, it inevitably burns up too much energy.
