The Hammer Bad Intentions Hybrid stands out with a classy black and gold design. At the ball's center works the symmetrical Spheroid Core with a 2.480 RG and a strong 0.048 differential. The cover is the Juiced Hybrid Cover, sanded at the factory with a 500 and 2000 Abralon pad. This setup of an early-revving core and a lightly scuffed hybrid shell should make the ball read the heads reliably and develop an extremely smooth, continuous hook in the midlane. The cover offers the perfect balance of traction and length.

Comparing the Hammer Bad Intentions Hybrid to the original solid version, the hybrid shows noticeably more length and a more responsive reaction at the breakpoint. Against the Storm Phaze II, the Bad Intentions Hybrid offers a very similar amount of overall hook, but reacts a touch sharper at the end of the pattern due to the hybrid content in the coverstock. When the transition changes the lane and friction increases, the Spheroid design keeps the ball from giving up energy too early. It stays usable on the lane for a very long time and very consistently.
On the Lanes
The Hammer Bad Intentions Hybrid is most at home on medium to heavy lane conditions. It's an excellent option for league bowlers looking for a reliable and at the same time powerful ball motion. The symmetrical core creates a predictable path, which builds confidence when playing direct or moderately opened-up lines. The ball should maximize carry through its continuous angle. On extremely heavy oil, the hybrid cover sometimes lacks the last bit of bite of a pure solid.
