Inside works the dynamic Gas Mask core, which with a 2.50 RG and a 0.058 differential ensures a very clean motion through the front sections of the lane. The polyester cover is specifically tuned to store the ball's energy extremely efficiently. The nature of the surface with a polished finish supports this trait massively, letting the ball glide effortlessly through the heads without building friction early. Comparing the Taboo Spare to the Ebonite Maxim, the glaring differences in backend reaction are immediately apparent. The Ebonite Maxim tends to read a bit earlier, while the Taboo Spare holds its energy a decisive fraction longer and then reacts noticeably more aggressively to the dry area. That trait makes it the perfect complement in your arsenal when the Maxim starts losing energy into the pocket or entering too flat. Although both balls have a similar orientation toward lighter oil patterns, the Taboo Spare offers a noticeably more dynamic angle.
