BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
With the Raw Hammer Toxic, Hammer brings a fascinating new development to market that impresses above all with its exceptional length and late reaction. Inside works the dynamic Raw Hammer core, which with a 2.54 RG and a 0.042 differential ensures a very clean motion through the front sections of the lane. The pearl reactive cover is specifically tuned to store the ball's energy extremely efficiently. The nature of the surface with a polished finish massively supports this trait by letting the ball glide effortlessly through the heads without building friction early. Visually the ball is a real eye-catcher and immediately conveys that this model was designed primarily for later and sharper changes of direction. The technical match between core and cover is extremely harmonious and purposeful here.
Comparison
Comparing the Raw Hammer Toxic with the Roto Grip Hustle, the glaring differences in backend reaction stand out immediately. The Roto Grip Hustle tends to read somewhat earlier, while the Raw Hammer Toxic holds its energy a decisive fraction longer and then reacts far more aggressively to the dry area. That trait makes it the perfect complement in your arsenal when the Hustle starts losing energy in the pocket or entering too flat. Although both balls are aimed at lighter oil patterns, the Raw Hammer Toxic offers a noticeably more dynamic angle. It is the ideal solution for situations in which the Hustle no longer develops enough drive, since it generates the necessary entry angle.
On the Lanes
This ball shows its greatest strength once the lane has been played on a bit and transition has clearly set in. It needs a certain amount of friction in the backend to develop its characteristic hook, which delivers maximum, explosive carry. When the boards in the front part of the lane dry up, the ball lets you move systematically further inside and attack the pocket from a much deeper angle. It is very well suited to medium to dry conditions and an excellent choice if you are looking for a clean, quick-reacting surface. Thanks to its forgiving nature on shots missed to the outside, it should keep your scores stable at a very high level even in the late stages of a tournament.
