BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The Allure Solid is a real eye-catcher, with the combination of purple and blue harmonizing perfectly. The ball was released in December 2020 and uses the Traxion SF Solid reactive coverstock with a 500/1000/2000 Siaair Micro Pad surface preparation. The symmetric Allure core shows a 2.475 RG and a 0.049 differential at 15 pounds. This combination of the Allure core and the proven Traxion SF surface in a solid version makes the ball ideal for medium to heavy oil conditions.
Comparison
In a direct comparison with the Ebonite GB3, the Allure shows a similar shape, but is overall a bit stronger and more continuous through the pins. While the original Allure was intended for bowlers who needed a controllable and continuous pearl ball, the Allure Solid offers those traits in a stronger form in order to handle higher oil volume. The ball works as a benchmark piece, the one you pull out of the bag first to see what the lanes are giving you. Compared to the Game Breaker 4, it reacts earlier and can handle more oil with better continuation.
On the Lanes
The Allure Solid is designed for medium to heavy oil conditions and offers medium hook potential with a strong midlane reaction. The symmetric core should deliver a strong reaction in the midlane. The Traxion SF Solid surface allows the ball to grab in the midlane while showing remarkable continuation. Even on burned-up lanes it can recover from a deeper position and still retain enough power for the pins. As the upper-mid performance ball in the Ebonite line, it should appeal in particular to bowlers looking for a dependable benchmark option for varying lane conditions.
