BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The DV8 Warrant Solid comes in a striking black, magenta and yellow design. Released in December 2020, this ball pairs the N-Forcer SF Solid coverstock with a 500/1500 Siaair Micro Pad surface. The Captive core is asymmetric, with a medium RG of 2.505", a differential of 0.054" and an intermediate differential of 0.012". The innovative DynamiCore technology should provide increased durability and promises a harder impact with improved carry. As an asymmetric ball for medium to heavy oil volume, the Warrant Solid positions itself as a versatile opening ball.
Comparison
Compared directly to the DV8 Intimidator, the Warrant Solid shows similar ball motion but covers more boards. Against the original DV8 Warrant with its polished surface, the solid version works noticeably better on oily lane conditions. The N-Forcer SF technology was already used on the DV8 Night Prowler in a pearl version, while the hybrid version in the Warrant delivered increased midlane friction. Compared with its hybrid counterpart, the more solid cover of the Warrant Solid offers a more direct reaction to oil and less sensitivity to lane changes. The asymmetric weight distribution sets it apart from symmetric competitors such as the DV8 Verge Solid, which is designed as an even more aggressive symmetric option.
On the Lanes
On oily lane patterns, the Warrant Solid should stand out with easy length and a strong hook, with the powerful surface making it easier to move left as the lanes change. The rough factory finish prevents excessive skid, even when your projection is less precise. Designed for medium to heavy oil conditions, it offers a strong midlane and backend reaction with enough versatility to stay in play well into the transition. If you have a lower rev rate, you'll benefit especially from the controlled reaction, while power players have the option of moving further left when needed. Even in the lighter 12 and 13 pound weights, the asymmetric character is retained through modified cores. The solid construction makes it a first choice for fresh oil patterns and for longer-lasting performance as the lanes break down.
