BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The 900 Global Space Time Continuum makes a visual statement with a pearl blend of blue, black and pink. Inside sits the Sphericon LD Asymmetric Core, a modified version of the original Continuum core in which the density was adjusted for a higher RG (2.53 at 15 lbs) and a more moderate differential (0.042). This core is paired with the S71 Re-Loaded Pearl coverstock, which comes with a 1500-grit polish out of the box. This combination of higher RG and smooth surface immediately suggests that the ball is built to get through the heads very cleanly and conserve energy for the back end of the lane.
Comparison
Compared directly to the original 900 Global Continuum (solid/hybrid), the Space Time Continuum is noticeably later and more angular. Where the original Continuum rolls earlier and shows a rounder motion, the Space Time Continuum glides effortlessly through the heads and creates a more drastic change of direction at the breakpoint as soon as it hits friction. Against the 900 Global Flux, which is designed for a lot of traction in oil, the Space Time Continuum works as an ideal complement once the lane starts to dry up. It offers more length than a Storm Phaze II and responds more quickly to the dry boards than typical benchmark balls.
On the Lanes
This ball is an excellent choice for medium oil conditions and especially for the transition phase, once the heads have been played in. Because it travels cleanly through the front, it lets you move further inside and throw the ball out to the dry boards without risking an early burn up. It generates a lot of hook on the backend, and the asymmetric core provides strong carry even at steeper entry angles into the pocket. It's particularly well suited to opening up the lane when more solid balls lose energy too early.
