BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
With the Tropical Storm, Storm brings a fascinating new development to the market that impresses above all with its exceptional length and late reaction. Inside works the dynamic Turbine core, which with a 2.55 RG and a 0.038 differential ensures a very clean motion through the front portions of the lane. The Reactor Pearl cover is specifically tuned to store the ball's energy extremely efficiently. The nature of the surface with a Polished finish massively supports this characteristic by letting the ball glide effortlessly through the heads without building friction early. Visually the ball is a real eye-catcher and immediately conveys that this model was designed primarily for later and sharper changes of direction. The technical match between core and cover is extremely harmonious and purposeful here.
Comparison
Comparing the Tropical Storm with the Storm Tropical Surge, the glaring differences in backend reaction stand out immediately. The Storm Tropical Surge tends to read a bit earlier, while the Tropical Storm holds its energy a decisive fraction longer and then reacts considerably more aggressively to the dry area. This characteristic makes it the perfect complement in your arsenal when the Tropical Surge starts to lose energy in the pocket or enter too flat. Although both balls have a similar orientation toward lighter oil patterns, the Tropical Storm offers a noticeably more dynamic angle. It is the ideal solution for situations in which the Tropical Surge no longer develops sufficient drive, since it generates the necessary entry angle.
On the Lanes
This ball shows its greatest strength when the lane has already been played on a little and the transition has clearly set in. It needs a certain amount of friction in the backend to develop its characteristic hook, which produces maximum, explosive carry. When the boards in the front part of the lane dry up, the ball allows you to systematically move further inside and play the pocket from a considerably deeper angle. It is very well suited to medium to dry conditions and an excellent choice if you're looking for a clean, quick-reacting surface. With its forgiving nature on shots missed to the outside, it should keep your scores stable at a very high level even in the late stages of a tournament.
