BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
With the Viz-A-Ball (various designs), Brunswick brings a fascinating new development to market, one that stands out above all for its exceptional length and late reaction. Inside works the dynamic Pancake core, which with a 2.69 RG and a 0.019 differential ensures very clean motion through the front sections of the lane. The polyester cover is specifically tuned to store the ball's energy extremely efficiently. The nature of the surface with a polished finish massively supports this trait, letting the ball glide effortlessly through the heads without building friction early. Visually, the ball is a real eye-catcher and immediately conveys that this model was designed primarily for later and sharper direction changes. The technical match between core and cover is extremely harmonious and purposeful here.
Comparison
Comparing the Viz-A-Ball (various designs) with the Ebonite Maxim, the glaring differences in backend reaction are immediately apparent. The Ebonite Maxim tends to read somewhat earlier, while the Viz-A-Ball (various designs) holds its energy a decisive fraction longer and then reacts noticeably more aggressively to the dry area. That trait makes it the perfect complement in your arsenal when the Maxim starts losing energy in the pocket or entering too flat. Although both balls share a similar orientation toward lighter oil patterns, the Viz-A-Ball (various designs) offers a noticeably more dynamic angle. It is the ideal solution for situations in which the Maxim no longer develops enough drive, since it generates the necessary entry angle.
On the Lanes
This ball shows its greatest strength once the lane has already been played on a bit and transition has clearly set in. It needs a certain amount of friction in the backend to develop its characteristic hook, which produces maximum, explosive carry. As the boards in the front part of the lane dry up, the ball lets you systematically move further inside and attack the pocket from a much deeper angle. It works excellently on medium to dry conditions and is an excellent choice if you're looking for a clean, responsive surface. Thanks to its forgiving nature on shots missed to the outside, it should keep your scores stable at a very high level even in the late stages of a tournament.
