BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
With the Clash Turquoise/Purple, Ebonite brings a fascinating new development to the market that stands out above all for its exceptional length and late reaction. Inside works the dynamic C.A.M. core, which with a 2.53 RG and a 0.046 differential ensures a very clean motion through the front portions of the lane. The pearl reactive cover is specifically tuned to store the ball's energy extremely efficiently. The surface, with a 1500-grit polished finish, supports this quality massively by letting the ball glide effortlessly through the heads without building friction early. Visually the ball is a real eye-catcher and immediately conveys that this model was designed primarily for later and sharper direction changes. The technical match between core and cover is extremely harmonious and purposeful here.
Comparison
Comparing the Clash Turquoise/Purple with the Storm Hy-Road Pearl, the glaring differences in backend reaction stand out immediately. The Storm Hy-Road Pearl tends to read a bit earlier, while the Clash Turquoise/Purple holds its energy a decisive fraction longer and then reacts noticeably more aggressively to the dry area. That quality makes it a perfect complement in your arsenal when the Hy-Road Pearl starts losing energy in the pocket or entering too flat. Although both balls are aimed at lighter oil patterns, the Clash Turquoise/Purple offers a noticeably more dynamic angle. It is the ideal solution for situations in which the Hy-Road Pearl no longer generates enough drive, because it creates the necessary entry angle.
On the Lanes
This ball shows its greatest strength once the lane has been played in a bit and the transition has clearly set in. It needs a certain amount of friction in the backend to develop its characteristic hook, which produces maximum, explosive carry. When the boards in the front part of the lane dry up, the ball lets you systematically move further inside and attack the pocket from a much deeper angle. It is very well suited to medium to dry conditions and an excellent choice if you are looking for a clean, quick-reacting surface. Thanks to its forgiving nature on shots missed to the outside, it should keep your scores stable at a very high level even in the late stages of a tournament.
