The PowerKoil 17 Pearl cover is specifically tuned to store the ball's energy extremely efficiently. Comparing the Slingshot to the Brunswick Twist, the glaring differences in backend reaction stand out immediately. The Brunswick Twist tends to read somewhat earlier, while the Slingshot holds energy a decisive fraction longer and then responds noticeably more aggressively to the dry area. That trait makes it the perfect complement in the arsenal when the Twist starts losing energy in the pocket or entering too flat. Although both balls have a similar orientation toward lighter oil patterns, the Slingshot offers a noticeably more dynamic angle.
