BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
With the Venom Toxin, Motiv brings a fascinating new development to market that stands out above all for its exceptional length and late reaction. Inside works the dynamic Gear core, which with a 2.48 RG and a 0.034 differential ensures very clean motion through the front part of the lane. The Atomix Hybrid Reactive cover is specifically tuned to store the ball's energy extremely efficiently. The surface, with a 4000 grit sanded finish, supports this characteristic in a big way by letting the ball glide effortlessly through the heads without building friction early. Visually the ball is a real eye-catcher, and it immediately conveys that this model was designed primarily for later, sharper direction changes. The technical match between core and cover comes together here in an extremely harmonious and purposeful way.
Comparison
Comparing the Venom Toxin with the Motiv Venom Shock, the glaring differences in backend reaction stand out right away. The Motiv Venom Shock tends to read a bit earlier, while the Venom Toxin holds its energy a crucial fraction longer and then responds noticeably more aggressively to the dry area. That characteristic makes it the perfect complement in your arsenal when the Venom Shock starts losing energy in the pocket or entering too flat. Although both balls are aimed at similar lighter oil patterns, the Venom Toxin offers a noticeably more dynamic angle. It's the ideal solution for situations in which the Venom Shock no longer develops enough drive, because it generates the necessary entry angle.
On the Lanes
This ball shows its greatest strength once the lane has been played on a bit and transition has clearly set in. It needs a certain amount of friction in the backend to develop its characteristic hook, which delivers maximum, explosive carry. As the boards in the front part of the lane dry up, the ball lets you systematically move further inside and attack the pocket from a much deeper angle. It works excellently on medium to dry conditions and is an excellent choice if you're looking for a clean, responsive surface. Thanks to its forgiving nature on shots missed to the outside, it should keep your scores stable at a very high level even in the late stages of a tournament.
