First Impressions
The Storm Punch Out stands out with an extremely bright White and Black Pearl look. Inside works the fast symmetric Turbine core, which is defined by a high RG of 2.550 and a moderate differential of 0.038. For the cover, Storm relies on the R2S Pearl Reactive coverstock, which comes extremely highly polished at 1500 grit polished out of the box. These specs should make the ball get into a roll extremely late and skid safely through the heads on dry lanes. The cover and the core offer the perfect mix of maximum length and a late snap.

Comparison
In a direct comparison with the Storm Wipe Out, the Punch Out shows very similar ball motion, but the pearl cover delivers a somewhat more angular flare development in oil and a sharper reaction at the breakpoint. Against the Storm Hy-Road Pearl, the Punch Out offers a comparably late, biting hook thanks to its pearl design, though it is somewhat weaker in overall hook. When the transition changes the lane and dry spots appear, the extremely smooth surface immediately conserves its energy.

On the Lanes
The Storm Punch Out feels most at home on light to medium lane conditions. It is an outstanding option if you're looking for clean and late ball motion once the lanes have dried up. The symmetric core creates a strong angle in the dry, which increases your confidence when playing wider lines. The ball should secure carry through the biting entry into the pocket. On wetter patterns, however, it slides through and does not burn up.
