First Impressions
The Motiv Revolt Vengeance brings a striking black and red hybrid design to the lane. Inside works the hefty symmetric Vanquish core with a 2.470 RG and a massive 0.056 differential. The cover is the Turmoil HFS Hybrid Reactive coverstock, brought to a 5000 grit LSP polished texture out of the box. Thanks to the low RG and the massive differential, the ball glides safely through the front part of the lane and digs in extremely hard in the backend, combining maximum traction and length.
Comparison
Compared with the Motiv Covert Revolt, the Vengeance shows drastically less early traction and a far more angular overall reaction in the dry, since it uses a polished hybrid cover. Against a ball like the Storm Phaze II, the Revolt Vengeance offers a very similar, massive hook thanks to its strong design, but stores more power for the end. When transition changes the lane and friction increases, the smooth surface uses the energy extremely well. It works very well on open lines.
On the Lanes
The Motiv Revolt Vengeance is most at home on medium to heavy lane conditions. It is an outstanding option if you're looking for a dependable and extremely strong, angular ball motion. The symmetric core produces an absolutely steady yet sharp move, which builds confidence when playing deep lines. The ball should ensure carry through a punishing entry into the pocket. On extremely fresh oil it can sometimes slide a little too easily through the breakpoint.
