BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The Hammer Redemption Solid screams Hammer with its bold orange, black and white colors and extremely aggressive ball reaction. The ball's specs reflect that aggressive design: the asymmetric Redemption Core delivers a 2.498 RG and a .053 differential in the 15-pound version, with a .015 mass bias. The new Aggression NE solid cover with a 360/500/2000 Siaair Micro Pad finish should provide overall aggressive hook on heavily oiled lanes. The Redemption Core is a very low RG core that generates quick rotation off the hand and helps create more hook. In addition, the ball features an orange inner core, and the outer core is infused with carbon fiber. New to the Hammer line is DOT technology, which allows drilling anywhere and makes this ball even tougher. Comparison
Compared to established benchmark balls, the Redemption Solid shows clearly more aggressive characteristics. According to expert opinion, the Hammer Redemption Solid redefines hook potential. While the Storm Phaze II is considered a reliable benchmark ball for medium to heavy oil conditions, the Redemption Solid positions itself as a specialized heavy oil ball. The Redemption series is reminiscent of the RipD line, but with markedly increased aggressiveness. Experts haven't seen a ball in a long time that hooks this early and still continues through the backend. Compared to the Hammer Rip'D and Statement Solid, the Redemption Solid shows even more hook potential and definitely takes the place of the longtime Rip'D Solid. On the Lanes
The Redemption Solid is a true heavy oil ball that shines especially on longer patterns and is not recommended for lighter oil patterns. If you play down and in with a lower rev rate or less axis rotation, you can put that heavy roll to particularly good use. The combination of core and cover lets this ball read the lane very early, which makes it perfect for fresh oil, high oil volume and long oil patterns, and also gives lower rev rate players the extra help they need to get back to the pocket. The Redemption Solid offers tremendous continuation off the backend and doesn't shut down the hook like some other more aggressive asymmetric core products. With a 2000 surface that looks like 1000 because of the underlying 360/500 combination, this product literally digs through oil — no amount of oil has been found yet on which this ball won't hook. Important to note, though, is that because of its extreme strength the ball requires careful handling and is most at home on super heavy oil conditions.
