BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The Track Latitude presents itself as a solid, purple-toned bowling ball designed as the benchmark piece for the Track line. The ball features an MC2 symmetrical core, already used in the successful Triton Elite, though with slight density modifications for a somewhat higher RG of 2.511 and a differential of 0.045 in 15-pound balls. The QR8 Solid Reactive coverstock comes with a factory surface of 500/3000 Siaair Micro Pad, which should allow for a controlled reaction on medium oil conditions. The ball is recommended for medium oil volumes and should deliver a strong midlane and backend reaction with medium hook potential.
Comparison
Compared to the Track Triton Elite, the Latitude uses the same MC2 core, but with adjusted density values for a slightly smoother character. The Triton Elite was already established as a very successful benchmark ball, while the Latitude is equipped with the newer QR8 Solid cover instead of its predecessor's QR-7 Solid. In the Track hierarchy, the Latitude Pearl sits between the Track Tempo and the Latitude Solid, and it also makes for a good alternative to the Track Proof Pearl. The reaction character should turn out more consistent and more predictable than with more aggressive asymmetrical models, which makes it a reliable reference ball for various styles of play.
On the Lanes
The Latitude is aimed at bowlers of every style who are looking for a versatile, dependable ball for nearly any lane condition. Its moderate aggressiveness makes it particularly suited to medium oil conditions, where it should offer balanced length with a controlled backend hook. Reports from the lanes confirm its suitability for both sport patterns and house shots, which underlines its benchmark qualities. Bowlers with a range of rev rates and speeds should benefit from the symmetrical core construction, since it allows for a predictable and adaptable reaction. The moderate RG/differential combination makes it an ideal choice if you need a ball that neither turns into the pocket too early nor too late, but instead delivers consistent midlane performance with enough energy left for the backend.
