BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The 900 Global Volatility Torque comes in a striking color combination of Emerald, Steel and Violet and uses the innovative S84 Response Pearl coverstock polished to 1500 grit. The ball features the proven Volatility Asymmetric Core with a 2.49 RG (15lb) and a 0.050 differential (15lb). The S84 Response Pearl cover represents roughly two years of research work and expands the microscopic pores of the surface by more than 20 percent. This innovative technology should provide an unprecedented level of oil absorption. The Volatility Torque is the first ball in 900 Global's reworked Tour Engineered 900 series.
Comparison
The Volatility Torque is more angular and offers more overall hook than the 900 Global Flux Pearl. Strokers and tweeners can stand three boards further left compared to the 900 Global Honey Badger Revival. Next to the Roto Grip UFO, the UFO seems a bit more usable, a bit later and more angular. The Volatility Torque stores plenty of energy for the breakpoint, yet still digs through the oil, which gives it a unique reaction. It is entirely fair to say that the 900 Global Volatility is one of the strongest balls on the market, since it feels as though it has enormous traction.
On the Lanes
Recommended for medium to heavy oil conditions, the Volatility Torque shows its best reactions on fresh medium oil patterns. The midlane hook helps it get over the hump when the ball stays in the oil longer on misses in, and it rips sideways off the dry back to the pocket on wide misses. The Volatility prefers more closed angles and shows its strengths from direct lines, with the 8, 9 and 10 lines giving the best look. On sport patterns it works as a pocket-control ball and is a great, smooth option when the pattern has higher volume. The low RG core design revs up quickly, while the polished factory finish provides length.
