First Impressions
The Motiv Supra Enzo comes in a sporty red/black hybrid design and is built around the High Impulse symmetrical core. The specs show a 2.57" RG and a 0.050" differential in 15-pound balls. The cover is the newest Infusion Hybrid Reactive with a polished 5500 Grip LSP surface. This red/black hybrid cover is a modified version of the technology used on the original Supra and should give the Enzo a boost in power without sacrificing angularity.
Comparison
Compared directly to other Motiv balls, the Supra Enzo shows some interesting traits. Strokers saw additional hook in oil from the Supra Enzo compared to the Motiv Fatal Venom on fresh medium patterns, but less hook than the Motiv Ripcord Flight. For balanced players, the typical balanced bowler will use this ball on moderately dry lanes when looking to create more angle than with a Motiv Venom Shock. On higher friction surfaces it could serve as an early transition ball for balanced bowlers who start with a benchmark piece like the Motiv Venom Shock, Tank Blitz or Ripcord Flight. Compared to the Motiv Ripcord Velocity, the Velocity shows a cleaner pearl look that is flippier.
On the Lanes
The Supra Enzo is an excellent fit for bowlers who want to create angle during transition without giving up control or traction. If you are speed-dominant, this is an incredible ball option for drier lanes, since the shiny Infusion Hybrid still offers enough traction to let you see shape on the lane. Rev-dominant bowlers benefit in particular, as rev-dominant players will absolutely love the Supra Enzo for the versatility it offers and the ability to use it over long stretches through transition. The ball revs up slowly in the heads thanks to the high 2.57 RG, which makes high friction surfaces and lighter oil patterns less of a problem. Practical testing shows that the Supra Enzo is super predictable and adjusts so well that carry was extremely high.
