BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The Track Paragon, released in January 2022, marks the return of one of the brand's most popular core shapes in a new, powerful package. Visually it comes in a cool "Royal / Navy / Sky" color combination, and the matte finish (500/1500 Siaair) signals traction immediately. Inside works the newly developed I-Core 3.0. This asymmetric core is an evolution of the legendary I-Core from the Paradox series. With a low RG of 2.486, a very high differential of 0.056 and a moderate intermediate differential of 0.015 (at 15 lbs), it is designed to generate massive flare. The cover is the QR-11 Solid Reactive coverstock, the strongest chemical formulation in the Track arsenal up to that point. This combination defines it as an absolute "hook monster".
Comparison In direct comparison, the Paragon is the spiritual successor to the Track Paradox Black, but offers even more overall hook thanks to the more modern QR-11 shell. It is the strongest ball in the Track lineup (at the time of release) and sits clearly above the Track Legion Solid or the Track Proof. While the Proof delivers more of a benchmark reaction, the Paragon is built for pure oil displacement. A fitting external comparison is the Storm Nova or the Brunswick Quantum Evo Solid: all three are high-performance asymmetrics for heavy oil. The Paragon often distinguishes itself with a somewhat rounder and more continuous motion at the breakpoint compared to the sometimes sharper Nova, but offers more backend motion than a pure "snow tire" like the Hammer Obsession.
On the Lanes The Track Paragon is the ultimate weapon for heavy oil and long sport patterns. It's the first ball out of the bag when you're playing on a flood. Its matte surface bites through the front oil layers right away, while the strong core makes sure the ball keeps rotating and working even in the soup. It works excellently if you need help getting the ball to start up early, or in situations where you have to open up the lane from the inside. It is less suited to dry lanes or burned-up heads, since it would lose energy too early there. Its strength is control in oil and mixing the pins through sheer mass and rotation.
