BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The SWAG YOLO JOMO immediately stands out with its striking cobalt and aqua color scheme, which makes a very lively impression on the lane. At the heart of the ball spins the proven symmetric Spiral-S core. At 15 lbs, this core delivers an RG of 2.535 and a differential of 0.044. Those numbers place it in the medium performance range with a tendency toward good length. Wrapped around the core is the USY 2 Pearl Reactive coverstock. The surface comes out of the box with a 3000-grit finish and is then polished. This combination is interesting, since the underlying 3000-grit sanding provides enough bite in the oil, while the polish helps the ball glide cleanly through the heads. It isn't the classic "glazed" pearl look, but comes across as somewhat grittier.
Comparison
Compared directly to its predecessor, the SWAG YOLO Rocks, the JOMO appears somewhat rounder and more controlled in its reaction at the breakpoint. Where the Rocks often generated a very sharp corner, the JOMO offers a slightly smoother transition thanks to the USY 2 cover. Set against a market standard like the Storm Hy-Road Pearl, the YOLO JOMO shows similar length, but reads the midlane a tick stronger due to its slightly higher differential and the more aggressive base grit of the cover. It is less jumpy than a Roto Grip Hustle Wine and offers more overall hook than that entry-level line. It occupies a similar niche to the Radical Rattler Pearl, though the SWAG ball often shows a somewhat later reaction.
On the Lanes
The SWAG YOLO JOMO is an ideal ball for medium oil conditions and for the transition. When the lane starts to dry up in the heads and stronger solid balls lose energy too early, this ball plays to its strengths. It gets through the heads effortlessly and saves its energy for the backend. Thanks to the symmetric Spiral-S core, the backend motion is defined but not uncontrollably twitchy. That makes it an excellent choice for league play on house shots, where you have to move inside as the evening goes on. It offers enough recovery to come back from slightly wider angles without overreacting immediately when you play more direct.
