BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The 900 Global Reality visually stands out with its striking Magenta, Aqua, and Midnight Blue color scheme. Inside, the asymmetric Disturbance core provides an RG of 2.49, a differential of 0.052, and an intermediate differential of 0.018 at 15 pounds. This powerful core is wrapped in the S84 Response Solid cover, which comes out of the box with a 2000 Abralon finish. The combination of a dull surface and a strong asymmetric core is engineered to handle heavy volumes of oil and read the lane early. The rough cover creates tremendous traction in the oil, while the core stores enough energy to generate a continuous motion downlane.
Comparative Analysis Compared to the Storm Proton Physix, the 900 Global Reality offers a very similar overall strength but gets through the front of the lane a bit cleaner, maintaining a rounder and more continuous backend reaction. When placed alongside the Roto Grip RST-X1, the Reality reads the pattern a bit sooner but provides a comparable amount of overall hook. Against the Roto Grip UFO, the Reality shows similar traction in the oil but responds more evenly to friction, resulting in a more predictable transition as the lane breaks down. This balance allows the Reality to bridge the gap between extremely early rolling balls and those designed for sharp directional changes.
Practical Application The 900 Global Reality is designed primarily for long and heavy oil patterns. It is aimed at bowlers who need a reliable reaction when standard equipment fails to create enough traction. Players with higher ball speeds or lower rev rates should benefit from the early reading nature of the cover, as the ball confidently drives toward the pocket. On typical house shots, it can quickly become too strong for rev-dominant players unless the surface is altered. When kept at its factory finish, it is designed to provide excellent carry on higher volumes of oil. For tournament bowlers, it serves as an excellent benchmark choice on fresh conditions, as it blends wet and dry areas well and offers a smooth transition.
