BOWLING BALL INFOS

First Impressions
The Brunswick Purple Titan Nirvana presents itself in a mysterious, deep violet hue officially named Deep Bruiser Purple. Inside the ball operates the proven asymmetrical Nirvana Ultra Low RG core. At a weight of 15 pounds, this core delivers a very low RG value of 2.477, paired with a high differential of 0.054 and an intermediate differential of 0.013. The cover utilized is the reactive ECS Hook 3.0+ Pearl Ultra HK22C. The surface is prepped from the factory with a 500 and 1000 grit pad and subsequently finished with Factory Compound to a high polish. This combination of materials is designed to allow the ball to glide easily through the front of the lane, establish a clear footprint in the mid-lane, and generate a continuous, dynamic Hook in the backend.
Comparative Analysis Compared to typical reactive pearl balls like the Storm Phaze V, which often combine extreme length in the front with a very sharp breakpoint, the Purple Titan Nirvana reads the lane noticeably earlier and deeper. Thanks to the massive asymmetrical core and the HK22C base, it creates a much stronger and more controlled motion down the lane instead of just skidding long. Against its direct predecessor, the Brunswick Black Titan Nirvana, the Purple Titan offers an upgrade to the ECS Hook 3.0+ material, resulting in even more pronounced traction during the Transition. When compared to an asymmetrical solid ball like the original Brunswick Absolute Nirvana, the pearl surface of the Purple Titan glides significantly further through the oil before the strong Friction takes over and the change of direction occurs.
Practical Application The Brunswick Purple Titan Nirvana is a versatile ball intended for medium to heavier oil patterns. With its pearl surface combined with an enormously strong core, it is an excellent choice for players looking to open up the lane while still needing a predictable and powerful continuation through the pins. Bowlers with medium to high rev rates can effectively use this ball on typical house conditions to attack the pocket from steeper angles and maximize their Carry. As the front boards dry out and the Transition sets in, the polished finish enables clean length through the front, while the core retains enough energy to sustain a strong Hook at the end of the lane. For extremely dry environments, the ball is less suitable, as the powerful differential could cause it to expend its energy too early.
