The Swag Assassin Pearl releases in February 2026 as part of the Mainstream Performance Line and is designed as the complementary, more agile option to the Assassin Solid. The look is defined by a high-quality pearl finish that puts the focus on length and backend reaction. Inside the ball sits the Assassin Symmetric Core, which in a 15 lbs ball carries a 2.48 RG and a 0.051 differential. These specs point to a core that is ready to rotate very early and offers high potential for flare development. The coverstock is the newly developed Never Quit AP26 Pearl Reactive material. Out of the box the ball comes with a polished finish, which minimizes friction in the heads and should keep the stored energy from releasing until late on the lane. The combination of a low-RG core and a pearl surface promises a powerful move in the last third of the lane.
Comparison A fitting comparison for the Swag Assassin Pearl is the Storm Phaze V or the 900 Global Zen. Like the Phaze V, the Assassin Pearl uses a strong symmetrical core with low RG to maintain continuous motion despite the polished surface. Compared to the Swag Assassin Solid, the pearl version offers noticeably more length and a more angular reaction at the breakpoint, while the Solid already finds traction in the midlane. Compared to an entry-level ball like the Brunswick Rhino, the Assassin Pearl shows a considerably more aggressive backend reaction and better carry thanks to the stronger core. It suits you well if you need clear feedback off the breakpoint and like to play steeper angles once the lanes dry up. If you throw the ball fast, the combination of the quickly rotating core and the pearl surface gives you enough security that the ball reacts in time. In scenarios where a solid ball already loses too much energy in the midlane and hits the pins flat, the Assassin Pearl should improve carry through its energy retention.
